Central Bank Digital Currency

According to the Central Bank of Ireland "A digital euro would be a central bank liability (similar to physical euro banknotes and coins), except offered in digital form. It would be a fast, secure and easy to use instrument, which would be available for use by European citizens and businesses for the everyday payments. A digital euro would ensure that citizens of the euro area would continue to have access to widely accepted, safe and trusted means of payment for the digital age."

CBDCs are divided into two types. These are wholesale and retail. Financial institutions are the primary users of wholesale CBDCs. Retail CBDCs are similar to physical forms of cash.

At the moment I can have a monetary transaction concluded with the exchange of cash that is private between myself and the person I am transacting with. This will end when cash is phased out, no transaction will be unrecorded. I believe surveillance leads to the government tramping on individual rights so I am against Digital Currency and Digital ID's especially when they are linked like China has done.

In 2018 in China, the eastern city of Suqian announced a plan to score the “trustworthiness” of every adult resident. Everyone would start with 1,000 points. They could get more for performing good deeds, such as voluntary work, giving blood, donating bone-marrow or being a model worker. Points would be deducted for bad behavior such as defaulting on loans, late payment of utility bills, breaking the rules of the road or being convicted of a crime. Scores would be recalculated monthly and allow residents to be sorted into eight categories, from AAA (model citizen) to D (untrustworthy).

Model citizens get incentives and untrustworthy ones have their liberties like travel removed, its a great way to keep your population under control making sure they tow the party line.

If you think this wont happen in a democracy it is happening already, take the Canadian freedom truckers case that freezed hundreds of bank accounts associated with protest organizers and Canadians who had blockaded Ottawa’s streets with their vehicles.

The social credit system is already here in Europe here we are well accustomed to credit checks: data brokers such as Experian trace the timely manner in which we pay our debts, giving us a score that's used by lenders and mortgage providers. We also have social-style scores, and anyone who has shopped online with eBay has a rating on shipping times and communication, while Uber drivers and passengers both rate each other; if your score falls too far, you're out of luck.

Imagine a World where you cant buy anything without having permission, where every daily choice you make is monitored and logged into a database watched over by Government.

John Kerry

The Worlds largest study of global climate related deaths every year to abnormal temperatures has been done by Monash University in Australia, the study used 43 countries’ baseline data across five continents with different climates, socioeconomic and demographic conditions and differing levels of infrastructure and public health services – so the study had a large and varied sample size, unlike previous studies.

It found 9.43 per cent of global deaths could be attributed to cold and hot temperatures. This equates to 74 excess deaths for every 100,000 people, with most deaths caused by cold exposure.
Importantly, cold-related death decreased 0.51 per cent from 2000 to 2019, while heat-related death increased 0.21 per cent, leading to a reduction in net mortality due both to cold and hot temperatures.

You can check the study at https://www.monash.edu/.../worlds-largest-study-of-global...

Maybe John Kerry the US Climate envoy recently at the WEF forum should have referenced this data rather than preach in his Evangelical fashion that "10 million people are dying annually from the heat" – a statistic that he used to illustrate the urgency of action in what he referred to as the world’s hottest year ever.

I find it shocking to hear the US climate envoy appear to give such a misleading impression of what the evidence tells us on heat-related deaths.

Does he get sanctioned for his propaganda and fake news? nope he jets off to his next speech on his wife's private jet, a Gulfstream GIV-SP, which has made 48 trips lasting more than 60 hours and released an estimated 715,886 pounds — or 325 metric tons — of carbon dioxide since Biden entered the White House in January 2021.

To put this in context an average the typical passenger vehicle emits about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide a year.

Pronouns

Pronouns

I would say I’m flummoxed by pronouns but actually I see them as a way insecure teenagers can get attention. As an insecure kid I used to get attention by misbehaving, actually the misbehaving continued for a fair while, into my forties probably.

I used to do things like drawing caricatures of the teacher on the blackboard before the class started then getting the belt for my industry, or being a clown in class with the same outcome, an average week saw me receive the belt at least a couple of times and for some weird reason I never made Prefect.

However, seeking attention seems to have got out of control, maybe because corporal punishment was banned in schools. Corporal punishment could be a great way to get even more laughs I had one female teacher who used to close her eyes before the belt hit my crossed hands, so if I opened my hands at exactly the right instant the belt would hit her leg. It all went to pot right enough when she started getting her husband to administer the belt as he was the PT instructor and to be honest a real sadist.

There used to be twelve personal pronouns "I," "you," "he," "she," "it," "we," "they," "them," "us," "him," "her," "his," "hers," "its," "theirs," "our," "your." It was quite easy to understand and proportion the relevant pronoun. Now it starts to get harder.

A gender neutral or gender inclusive pronoun is a pronoun which does not associate a gender with the individual who is being discussed. So now I have to remember for starters

SHE

HER

HER

HERS

HERSELF

HE

HIM

HIS

HIS

HIMSELF

zie

zim

zir

zis

zieself

sie

sie

hir

hirs

hirself

ey

em

eir

eirs

eirself

ve

ver

vis

vers

verself

tey

ter

tem

ters

terself

e

em

eir

eirs

emself

All this is fair enough if someone doesn’t know what gender they are and wants some attention I say go for it, call yourself a ve and wear a wee badge so we all know you want attention.

For myself I have decided to just ignore this trivial fad and either cross the street if I see a pronoun badge or pretend to be blind actually a white stick could be handy if the pronounee insists on further imposing their attention seeking.

As of the second quarter of 2022, the New York City-based asset management company BlackRock had total assets under management (AUM) of around 8.5 trillion U.S. dollars. It is hard to visulize a trillion so to give you an idea, if you had one trillion dollars and spent one million an hour, it would take 411 years to spend all the money.

BlackRock obviously has significant influence with companies, investors and governments because of the vast array of shares, bonds and other assets it controls. BlackRock’s absurd liquidity means that if you look at just about every major publicly traded company in the world you’ll find that BlackRock is its first, second or third-largest shareholder. Go ahead, try it.

BlackRock also owns part of CNN and FOX, meaning they can unilaterally influence bipartisan information flow and also manipulate what we buy, sell and consume. A true unelected corporate elite dictatin top down to the population.

In 2019 Larry Fink CEO of Blackrock joined the Board of the Davos World Economic Forum, the Swiss-based organization that for some 40 years has advanced economic globalization. Fink, who is close to the WEF’s technocrat head, Klaus Schwab, of Great Reset notoriety, now stands positioned to use the huge weight of BlackRock to create what is potentially, if it doesn’t collapse before, the world’s largest Ponzi scam, ESG corporate investing.

The WEF (World Economic Forum) are not a collective of elected officials they are technocrats and yet they are dictating policy, you can't tell me they are not influenced by the huge amount of money from Blackrock.

ESG the WEF and how technocrats are dictating world politics

Well, ESG stands for Economic, Social and Governance and it’s a WEF (World Economic Forum) initiative. They took it upon themselves to introduce this ESG to identify a set of universal metrics and disclosures.

I’m not against the values of ESG what I am against is the huge amount of money being poured into ESG under false pretences it is just a control measure giving higher scores to companies and countries donating to one side of the political spectrum (the Extreme Left)

Sri Lanka is a country with one of the highest ESG scores of >98% yes that’s the Sri Lanka that is now a Failed State and absolute basket case. In April 2021 it helped the ESG score tremendously that Sri Lanka banned all chemical fertilizers and it put the final nail in their coffin. With no fertilizers rice production dropped by 50 % I can almost hear the technocrats saying “let them eat cake”

It is going to become mandatory according to the WEF for all businesses in 2023 helped on its merry way by BlackRock’s (the world’s largest investment company) huge financing

The WEF are Technocrats not voted in but who have bought their way into power.

With both the political and financial controls in one basket it gives cart blanche to write any laws they wish.

I don’t want more laws dictating what I can say or think I don’t want the WEF technocrats to have a bigger say than Governments who were voted into their position by a public that can vote them out

ESG worth learning more about?

Weeding, peas and locking down again

Well it was a good day for weeding (if such a day exists) with a fresh breeze of wind and sunny intervals, so I proceeded to weed my patio gravel.
I gave up weeding the driveway about a month ago and if anyone asks I just tell them I am providing bees with their lunches ( a great excuse to do nothing if you ask me, sort of like killing two birds with one stone, without the murder)
In between cutting and glueing bits of wood together to loosly represent a 4x4 for my market stall (if such a thing will ever exist again) I got the patio finished and moved on to weeding the veg plot, Bad Move.
The veg plot is in a sheltered spot and the midgies (following Government advise are Staycationing) Anyway after nearly knocking myself out swatting them I moved on to harvesting my dinner.
Had peas and shallots ready to crop along with Thyme and parsley, the fridge revealed butter and parmesan some mushrooms and half a lemon and the larder some rissoto rice so tonights dinner was fresh garden pea/ mushroom rissoto.
In late news, my favourite caravaners are back so I better lock up the sheds and tie down the dogs or get out fishing.
