Wood qualifies as renewable energy, on the logic that trees ultimately grow back. However, I would argue that while trees can be replanted, it can take generations for a growing forest to reabsorb the carbon dioxide that was emitted by burning the wood.

The drive to “Net Zero” in order to save the World does not make any sense, In 2019 the EU emitted less than 9% of the worldwide CO₂ emissions for that year, so even if the whole of Europe stopped emitting CO₂  all that would change is it would cripple their economies and drive populations into poverty.

If you believe that anthropogenic global warming is going to lead to catastrophic destruction of the Earth then something needs to be done, but unreasoned panic is not the answer. Chopping down trees to burn is unreasonable, against the science and will in fact advance the narrative.

 

Book censorship in 2023

 

I love books, they are a great way to escape normality and be immersed in a different world, hard and softbacks fill shelves in my house and over the last dozen years Kindle and E Readers have taken over as my preferred method of reading. Because I work on my own, I will often be listening to a story on an audio book as I go about things. If I like an author I will look out for their next offering and buy their book, so I am disgusted to find out that my eBooks are now being censored after I have bought them.

When I buy a book I am buying the words of the author, they chose the words they wanted to describe the moment or scene in the text. I think this is why sometimes a movie doesn’t do a great book justice. I buy the book for the authors words not those of some literary nihilist.

The literary nihilist who recently led to the censoring of books by Roald Dahl is a Non-Binary, Asexual, Polyamorous Relationship Anarchist, the fact that such a minority, albeit loud, proportion of humankind can have the power to insist classic books are censored and then changed after they are owned by others I would say belies my comprehension but it doesn’t as I think this censorship by an extreme leftist minority is just another small part of the Great Reset, yet another move to Totalitarianism by the self-proclaimed “Elites”

Genetically modified food.

GM foods are developed – and marketed – because there is some perceived advantage either to the producer or consumer of these foods. This is meant to translate into a product with a lower price, greater benefit (in terms of durability or nutritional value) or both.

The push towards genetically modified food is being thrust down our necks by the World Economic Forum and their forecast that we will all starve due to over population in a couple of decades. Even though it is their own Net Zero policies that are stopping farmers doing their work. Fuel and fertilizer shortages due to an Americain  sponsered war in Ukraine. Huge inflation and a massive transfer of money from the poor to the rich elites throughout Covid. 

Bill Gates is a huge proponent of Lab meat, keen to preclude the masses from eating real meat in hopes of combatting the specter of climate change and making more money. While there is a significant push under way for people to surrender steaks, burgers, and hot dogs and instead eat bugs and algae, climate alarmists and elites alike are also hyping so-called synthetic "meat."

 In order to get the cell cultures to multiply at the rates necessary to keep these doctored meat companies afloat, "several companies, including the Big Three, are quietly using what are called immortalized cells. ... Immortalized cells are a staple of medical research, but they are, technically speaking, precancerous and can be, in some cases, fully cancerous.""Despite the informal scientific consensus around the safety of immortalized cells, there just aren't any long-term health studies to prove it," It does not supprise me that Gates is promoting this with no long term studies after all he was the main man steering the quick untested roll out of vaccines which may well turn out to have been a murderous mistake.

I am not going to eat meat grown in a lab same as I dont eat vegitarian sausages, I grow a lot of my own veg so I know it is truly organic and I will continue to support local farmers in the hope they wont be put out of business by dillusional elites prancing around in Davos.

 

Totalitarianism

 Totalitarianism is the modern phenomenon of Total Centralized State Power coupled with the obliteration of Individual Human rights. In the Totalized State there are those in power and the objectified masses, the victims.

The Great Reset's toxic woke ideology goes beyond politics it's top-down efforts to force content to conform to politically correct notions is antithetical to freedom. The Great Reset is the brainchild of Klaus Shwab and the WEF its aim under the control of an unaccountable technocratic elite, is to impose a new world order under which we shall all be monitored and measured, controlled and commanded, oppressed.

When the World Economic Forum talks about “leaders” and their “expertise” they are not talking about the democratically elected leaders of sovereign nations. They are talking about the officers of the global corporations that make up “the Forum’s communities.” all who have to have an anual turnover of over 5 billion dollars.

I am against Totalitarianism and most of the Great Resets aims. 

Central Bank Digital Currency to replace physical cash, 15 min cities, Digital ID's, ESG (Environmental Social and Governance, restrictions on business, phasing out meat and genetically modifying our food, Vaccine passports and a group of self appointed "Elites" non elected with no way of voting them out of office dictating how when where and what we eat, think and do.

Facebook and fake news

It must be very difficult to come up with an algorithm that is fair and unbiased, I just worry sometimes that the line, keeping people "safe" from fake news and propaganda by filters on free speech and debate is actually a dystopian move to suppress information that could affect the companies agenda.  

The concerning thing for me is that Meta’s AI-powered tool, called Sphere, introduced to detect, and address misinformation, or “fake news”, of the internet uses scanning of hundreds of thousands of citations at once to check whether they truly support the corresponding claims. 

This sounds fine, but science and progress in general, revolves around questioning citations and not just following blindly along. The questioning views opposing mainstream beliefs have been filtered by Sphere and either not shown at all due to their being labelled as false news or only shown to a very small proportion of the community. 
So here is how it works, the Facebook algorithm evaluates every post. It scores posts and then arranges them in descending, non-chronological order of interest for each individual user. This process happens every time a user—and there are 2.9 billion of them—refreshes their feed. 

The goal of the Facebook algorithm is to give the best Facebook user experience possible. It allows Facebook to sell more ads by increasing their time on the platform. Facebook looks at 3 main signals to evaluate a post’s relevance to users: 

Who posted it: People with whom you have a lot of interaction will appear at the top of your feed. 

Type of content: Your feed will favour the videos, photos, or links that you interact with the most. 

Interactions with the post: Posts with a lot of interactions, especially those with whom you engage the most, will be prioritized by Facebook. 

 

So really all this is giving you is more of the same content you have viewed, liked, or shared in the past and only the content considered safe.

Mark Zuckerberg is betting the future of his company on the metaverse, turning part of it into a hardware business with its own operating system. The Metaverse is one of the WEF’s dystopian visions for us, a single, shared, immersive, persistent, 3D virtual space where humans experience life in ways they could not in the physical world while they are imprisoned in 15 min cities with CBDC’s and digital ID’s controlling every part of their existence.
